General Summary:                                                                                                            

The Marketing Coordinator is a key contributor to the success of the organization’s marketing initiatives, supporting both Adams Telephone Co-Operative and Mid Century Telephone Cooperative. This position focuses on the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing strategies designed to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and overall organizational visibility.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Responsibilities include coordinating campaigns and events, supporting digital and social media initiatives, maintaining brand consistency, and providing analytical insight to guide marketing decisions.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Plan, execute, and track marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, email, and event channels.
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure campaigns are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with team members to create and distribute promotional materials, advertisements, and content.
  • Write, edit, and proofread marketing copy for letters, email, newsletters, press releases, website content, blogs, social media posts, and critical events (i.e. service outages, network maintenance, etc.).
  • Oversee design projects and provide direction, feedback, and support to the Graphic Designer to ensure alignment with brand identity and quality standards.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar to coordinate messaging and timely delivery of content.
  • Support the Community Relations Coordinator with organization and execution of trade shows, community outreach, and product launch events.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze marketing and event performance data, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Specialist with updating and maintaining the company’s website and social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement through timely responses to comments and messages.
  • Maintain and organize marketing materials, files, and promotional inventory.
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and external vendors to ensure project execution.
  • Monitor marketing industry developments and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Demonstrate dependability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and adherence to work schedules.
  • Regularly operate a computer, mouse, and other standard office equipment.
  • Job requires the employee to carry objects/items a minimum of 30-40 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to distinguish color for design and branding purposes.
  • Occasionally required to stand or walk for long periods of time on different types of surfaces – concrete, gravel, steps, uneven ground.
  • Occasionally required to work evenings and weekends during events.
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:   

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000
